Chr: Feb 1801  Brimpsfield, Gloucester, England  d. 1 Mar 1877  Holmes City Township, Minnesota, USA.  Buried Van Loon Cemetery.
Inscription states Aged 76 Years 2 Months.
Married: 4 Mar 1824  Cowley, Gloucester, England  Mary Barradell b. 29 Oct 1797  Withington, Gloucester, England. 
d. Fall of 1864 England.  (LCB)  We think she died in Cheltenham.  She was the daughter of Robert Barradell and Henrietta (.......)?

10.2.1 Elizabeth Blackwell  b. 1827 Withington, Gloucester, England. (1851 Census) (Withington Parish) 
d. aft 1864 (probably 1865.
We think in Cheltenham as this was the home of the family in 1851.
No information is available at this time as to her marital status or that of any children.
 

10.2.2 Sophia Blackwell  b. 1830 Badgworth, Gloucester, England.  (1851 Census) (Tombstone) Inscription:
d. 18 Jan 1901  Alexandria, Minnesota  (Tombstone Inscription "Died aged 71 years") 
Buried in Van Loon Cemetery, Douglas Co., MN.
Married: 25 Jan 1871  Holmes City Township, Minnesota.
No children from this marriage.
George W. Frost  b. 1844 Belmont, Waldo County, Maine.  d. 31 Jan 1897 Alexandria, Minnesota (age 54)
Note:  George W Frost was a soldier in the American Civil War and was one of the men that captured Jefferson Davis.
 

10.2.3 John Blackwell  b.4 Jan 1832 Cheltenham, Gloucester, England  d. 24 May 1875 Litchfield, Meeker Co., Minnesota.
Married: 11 Jun 1862
Mary Jane McGannon b. 8 Jul 1842  Vernon, Jennings, IN.  d. 28 May 1929  Providence, Providence, RI   
 

10.2.4 George Blackwell  b. 15 Oct 1834  Cheltenham, Gloucester, England.   d. 9 Dec 1916  Brandon, Manitoba, Canada.
George died at Kirkella, Manitoba on Saturday, Dec. 9, 1916.  Aged 82 years, 1 month, 24 days.
He was buried in Brandon Cemetery on Monday, Dec. 11, 1916.  He died exactly at noon on Saturday.
Funeral services where held in their home by Rev. Dyer.  Gravesite service officiated by Rev. Lowrey.
Married:  6 May 1863  Anoka, Minnesota.
Lois Clarinda Twichell  b. 8 Sep 1841  Hudson, Allegany Co., NY (LCD) and her own memoirs.
d. 27 Nov 1925 Brandon, Manitoba, Canada.
She died in Brandon, Manitoba on Friday, 27 Nov 1925.  Aged 84 years, 2 months, 19 days.
Buried: Brandon, Cemetery, Brandon, Manitoba 29 Nov 1925  Brandon Cemetery, Brandon, Manitoba.
 

10.2.5 Henry Blackwell  b. 25 Aug 1839  Cheltenham, Gloucester, England. 
d.  27 Jan 1903  Holmes City, Minnesota        Henry was buried in the VanLoon Cemetery, Homes City, MN
Married: 29 Mar 1860  in Meeker Co., Minnesota.
Amanda Van Loon  b. 13 Aug 1841  Plymouth, Pennsylvania.  d.  13 Apr 1921  Holmes City, Minnesota
CertID#1921-MN-003434    She is the daughter of
Minor Van Loon and Charity Davenport.
Buried in Van Loon Cemetery, Holmes City, Minnesota.
           

10.2.6 William Blackwell  b. 1845  Charleton Kings, Gloucester, England (Census 1851)  d. 1917 Puyallup, Washington, USA
Almost no information is known about William.  We know he was in Minnesota with Sophia when they first come over but
we found no proof of his being there other then a comment in the memoirs of Lois Twichell.
There is a view that William is actually the James W Blackwell who purchased land directly next to that of George Blackwell
and within a 10 day period.  The register of deeds, John Blackwell, (10.2.3) did the registration for both titles.
More research must be done.
